I know that it is not the end of the season yet, but those in keeper leagues may start looking at next season. Who do you think will be good bargains next season and outperform their draft position?
This is a short list of guys I am keeping my eye on...
C
Ryan Doumit -Leading all major league catchers in average, but not talked about
Chris Ianetta -Power and RBIs are there, look for breakout next season
Jesus Flores
1B
James Loney -Solid all around but not spectacular, leading LAD in 2B a few more will start leaving the yard as he develops
Joey Votto -30+ HR is possible
2B
Emilio Bonifacio -With a full time gig could steal 30+
Alex Casilla -Off to a good start, but now likely out for the season
Alexi Ramirez -Solid look for continued success
SS
Jed Lowrie -Pedroia type of player
Mike Aviles -Hardy type of numbers possible
Troy Tulo -Season derailed by injuries
3B
Blake DeWitt -Andy LaRoche gone, lets see if he can sustain the pace that he started with in the bigs before tailing off
Andy LaRoche -A fresh start and a starting gig, only problem are 2 minor leaguers that play the same spot
Alex Gordon -Post hype sleeper? we will see
Ian Stewart -Same as above
Edwin Encarnacion -Keeps teasing, but when will he put it all together
OF
Adam Jones -All the tools and starting to put it all together
Lastings Milledge -Solid all around production
Jeremy Hermida -Is this the year?
Jay Bruce -Loads of potential, may fall due to low final numbers
Brandon Moss
Adam Lind -Finally starting to come around when given full time ABs
Justin Upton -Big time name, but injury will hold down numbers a bit, may be a bargain
Delmon Young -has the SB, but where is the power?
