Marcum rest of the way?

Marcum looked significantly better. He was spotting his fastball much better for strikes on the corners, and his changeup was working well.

It was just the Oakland A's, though.

Maybe they brought him back too quickly? If I remember correctly he only had 1 rehab start, so maybe he was still trying to get his feel/arm strength back....

Definitely a possibility.

Can't complain about his start last night. Was on the fence about whether or not to play him, but so glad I did. Will be interesting/frustrating to see whether or not he can continue this success in his next start.

Shaun Marcum hasn't regained his full velocity since coming off the DL, but held the A's to one run on three hits over seven innings Wednesday

I hope he's right, and better are things are to come.
