Question about Xeifrank's draft software

First of All Great Program!

A few Questions though

How excatly do the standing work?
Is it based on projections for this year?


If I do a Live Draft on Yahoo is there a way that it could somehow type in the players automatically or do I have to type in all the players myself?

im pretty sure it is based on this years projections, considering it had rhodes down for 35 saves, when he had like 2 last year.

regarding the live draft thing, im not sure what ur asking, but you can input the guys that have been drafted yourself. This way you will be able to take advantage of the advice feature when your draft comes around. are you asking whether or not you can simply input particular players onto particular teams?

I used it for a Yahoo draft and it was easy enough to put the players for all teams in as I went.

if you load the hitters04 and pitchers04 files then yes, it is based on projections for this year.

Yes, you have to enter the players, there is no magic fairy to type the players names for you. But all you have to do is type the first couple letters of their last name and it will pretty much go right to that player. Click the little arrow at the side of the draft player listbox and start typing the last name (example, Clemens)... type in C-L-E and you will quickly be taken to Clemens and Clement and just highlight the correct name and hit the draft button and he's drafted. It's very easy to do, just takes some practice. Only problem(s) you may run into in a live draft using this program is if somebody drafts and obscure player who is not in the database. If that's the case, I usually just select some other obscure player that I know won't be drafted at the same position, so I can go on to the next pick in the draft.

i'm in a 10 team private league and i want to enter the draft results
after the draft to see where my team stands
i can pull up the teams to start entering the names but i can't seem to enter who they drafted because my order appears messed up

You can select draft out of order and input all of one team's pick then another team etc.

my teams have been turning out great! thanks for the tool, it beats shuffling paper and highlighting!

From the drop down menu select Tools->Draft Sequence->
then select your draft sequence, if the draft is already over I'd recommend selecting 'Out of Order' and Draft Type of 'Manuall Enter All Teams', then from the two list boxes on the 'draft' tab select the fantasy team and then enter all their players, then repeat this for all 10 teams. I recommend saving the draft as a partially completed draft after you finish each team, just in case something happens you won't have to re-input everything over again.
