So. What's wrong with it? They both are competing. There's no belief anyone's cheating right? No collusion? What's the beef? Last I checked, Kurt Suzuki is nothing special and neither is Isringhausen when he happens to be healthy. He might not even close.

Set the tone now and tell the whiners that trades will go through when it's clear both owners are trying to improve their teams, even when it's obvious to the other owners that one guy is making a mistake.

Yeah, sounds like the guy giving up Martin just negotiated a couple of throw-ins, since they are just basically ww level players.

I don't even really see it as one-sided. Suzuki's trash, Izzy's inconsistant, Tex is great, and Burrell is solid. Atkins is a pretty good 3B, and Martin's a stud C. I think Team A wins, but not by as muh as people think. You have to think that Team B has to make 2 pickups to setlle his roster, which should give him an added amount of points to offset the trade advantage, and the oppo. for Team A.

Kurt is a solid catcher, he is far from trash.

I really dont think this trade is lopsided. Martin for Suzuki and Burrell, Tex for Atkins. Isringhausen is just a throw in.

You are not there to babysit for the owners to see that they make an "even" trade in your eyes. If they feel its even and are profiting from it, let it go. Is that trade collusion...no, thus not vetoable.
