Let's hope it is better than the week behind. 4 game series against the Braves while the Brewers and Cubs square up is a good chance to make some headway. Plus Carpenter's throws Wednesday and if the Cards hope to stay in it they will need Carp.

I'm sure his start will garner an extraordinary amount of attention. I'm sure I'm not the only one with the concern that they're pushing Carp back too fast like they did with Mulder.

4-3 but the Cards managed to gain on the Brewers. A couple of tough loses to Philly. One run games have not been kind lately. After 18 straight they finally get a day off. Dodgers and Cubs could make for a rough week.
