Thoughts on this obviously underachieving catcher. He's got to turn the corner eventually right?

I'm a little worried.
Houston has a horrible track record with prospects and drafted a catcher in the 1st round this year.

Sadly I think he may only end up being a backup. He is a below average catcher defensively and from everything I have read on him this year from scouts it appears he does not have good enough bat speed to catch up to major league fastballs and now the rest of the league has figured him out. Sadly I have cut bait on him in quite a few leagues and do not see more than a 15th-20th ranked catcher at best in the future. Also Houston drafting a catcher in the first round of this year's draft is not much of an endorsement either.
