Better avg. and better lineup behind him...has just as much speed but probably won't steal as much as Pierre...but then again, I expect Pierre's steals to decline a little also...

This is actually a pretty tough question. I think Pierre has a ton of upside, but i would also go with Ichiro, by a little bit

Ichiro is a very dynamic player. He outdoes Pierre in every category except steals, and he has potential to add more power without hurting his SB numbers all that badly.

I love Pierre, but he's never going to hit homeruns. He derives the majority of his value from steals and they're just not the best investment for a high pick.
