The Pirates will get Jose Tabata, Ross Ohlendorf and two other prospects from the Yankees for Xavier Nady and Damaso Marte, SI.com's Jon Heyman reports.
Pittsburgh came down off its initial price tag an awful long way then. Tabata still has very exciting potential and is incredibly young, but his wrist problem are scary and he's looking like a headcase. Ohlendorf has never been a good bet to develop into anything more than a sixth- and seventh-inning guy. Pitcher Phil Coke is also believed to be in the deal, and he's a true long shot to help.

Yup - going to the Yanks for Ohlendorf, Tabata, Phil Coke and a 4th minor leaguer.
Not 100% confirmed but it looks legit.
Damn - vest they could hope for. Nady is the perfect fit - roight handed hitter that can play outfield, has decent power, hits for average...and Marte is the left handed piece of the puzzle the bullpen was lacking.
Love this trade - the Yanks have cashed in on a ton of prospects the last few years. Losing Tabata hurts, but this was a fantastic trade in my opinion.
If they can swing a deal for another starter like Washburn that will be about as great a set of trades as I have seen lately.

NL leaguers need to grab Pearce right now and DOLF some mixed leaguers might want to (besides the obvious other grab for saves)
