Hart runs more, But I like markakis because he has an edge in runs and I think he has the potential to hit .315, where I see hart as a .290 ish guy.

I'll actually take Markakis over the long-term. I think Hart can outproduce him because of the SB's (and has higher upside), but Markakis is a better hitter and that reduces the downside risk IMO.

Fantasy wise - 25+ SB's (with power and decent avg in a strong lineup) make for a very valuable fantasy player. Markakis plays in a weaker lineup (maybe affecting R's and RBI's) with fewer SB's in the long-term but is a better hitter thus less likely to regress.

luckily i have both. unluckily, i also have matt kemp, bobby abreu, and tacoby bellsbury in a standard yahoo positioned (3 OF) league.

Absolutely Markakis. His obp alone makes him 10 times the baller that hart thinks he is. Plus I would take Markakis in a cage match.
