I guess you really can't tell if someone has "guessed" a correct answer or has researched it. Part of the fun (for me) is guessing the answer and seeing if I can get it right. If it is an extremely hard question I might look it up but normally I won't try to answer after I have looked up a question, heck by then it is always answered already. Can't get much by the players here at the cafe!
I normally take questions either from my memory (which stinks sometimes) or from the small collection of books I have on baseball. If I am reading a book or an article on baseball and I come across an interesting fact I might post it as a question so anybody can answer it.
Being online, I guess you can only have as much fun as you put into a site. That's the way I look at it.
