I doubt it. I see Pena with the first shot once/if Lyon is overtaken. Rauch will probably be used in the 6/7th innings. Qualls is in the mix as well.

Hahah no way. It just means we'll be even worse after getting rid of fuentes and holliday. Maybe O'Dowd will learn that you can trade AAA players for good relievers.

PHOENIX (TICKER) —The Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday acquired righthander Jon Rauch from the Washington Nationals for infielder Emilio Bonifacio.

Rauch, 29, went 4-2 with a 2.98 ERA and 17 saves in 48 appearances this season as the Nationals’ closer.

“Jon Rauch is a proven late-game reliever who we control through 2010,” Arizona general manager Josh Byrnes said. “We are pleased to add him as we attempt to defend our division title.”

Don't see it this way at all. Rauch proved himself in Washington so if I'm the manager, I'm thinking it'll either be Lyon or Rauch. Personally, I think Rauch becomes the closer with Lyon being relegated to the 8th inning where he was so successful last year.
