The Big Puma seems to have fallen into a bit of a slump. He's hit 0 HR, with a .204 average and 5 RBI in July thus far. Granted, that's a little misleading due to the shortened month, caused by the All-Star break, and the fact that his OBP has remained high. Still for someone who had averaged 13.5 AB/HR through June, a 50+ AB span without a HR is noticeable.
It's probably nothing since this is the only real stretch he's had all year where he hasn't been putting up elite numbers. But it makes one wonder...is he still a top 10 fantasy option for the rest of the year? Is the pink eye to blame for this months numbers?

Type of situation where somebody should have traded him away when his value was at its peak. He's still a great option going forward, but when people are offering A-Rod etc., a trade needs to be made.
As for Berkman's slump, I'd say I wouldn't have envisioned it being this prolonged, but it's no surprise given last year's slump where his groundball rates were quite high. If I recall correctly, this season, his GB rate was still up there even when he was on a homerun tear.
I sent him + Furcal + Stephen Drew for Reyes + Ibanez + Wang so each side got hosed, Wang/Furcal both injured, Ibanez/Drew both cooled off, but Reyes has been hot so I guess I can't complain...
