How much does your "Day at the park" Cost You?

The only time I go to games is on wednesday nights in Oakland, when the A's have what they call "double-play wednesdays," probably due to the fact that they only draw 15-25 k fans on average. The cost breaks down as follows:

$ 4.00 or so for tickets (retail for $ 2, but I usually buy on mlb.com, so they stack on extra fees)
$ 5.00 for hotdogs ($1 each, part of the wed night promotion)
$ 5-10 for other snacks or drinks that I bring in and buy beforehand (candy, water, etc)
$ 14 for parking (and I usually go with friends/family, so we split it) OR about $ 8 for BART (bay area train)

So I can spend under $ 20 and still have a pretty nice night (although I'm underage, so I'm sure that cuts my alcohol costs )

Typically I'll only go when I get free tickets, eat before the game and then I only spend $5 to get to the park.

When the Twins were really bad in the late 90's you could buy an upper deck ticket for $1 and move down pretty early in the game. My friends and I sat in the front row- 3rd baseline every time with nobody around us but the pitchers warming up.

It's 7 bucks to get the cheapest seats at the Metrodome now and that price will probably double once the new stadium opens. I used to keep my U of M ID to get in for a few bucks on Weds and enjoy $1 dogs but I work Weds nights now. They also used to have the family section located in the upper deck behind home plate which is one of my favorite places to sit at the Dome. Those seats were $13 bucks and you got a free pop. The deal still exists but now the section is one section away from the $7 dollar seats, so you're essentially paying $6 dollars for a pop and an alcohol free zone. There are no special discounts for adults on weekends so I'm back to paying full price if I want to go to a game. I'd never pay full price for food at a ball game. Maybe for a pop.

high seats for phillies-20$, hot dogs $3.50, parking $10, beer $6.50. If im not too hungry or its not amazingly hot ill drop around 40 at the game

Last game I went to was at Shea.

$17.50 for Mezzanine tickets(went on a day they had a promotion)
$4 for Subway (round trip)
$4.25 for their "Old fashioned" Lemonade (wasn't going to pay $8 for beer)
$9.75 for Mama's of Corona sub at Shea

And when I go to Marlins games at Dolphin Stadium, I usually get them for free from a friend. I guess I'm one of the reasons why they had so many financial problems

$180.5 (and i brought in 3 bottles of poland springs which would have been 13.5$ extra)
thankfully the game was great.....as with the last one....so it was well worth it!
and come September...eagles tickets are gonna come me proably $175 a piece for the worst seat....so yankee stadium was an economical treat.
