Just wondering how cheap total you guys can get to a game for or the average amount you spend:
Ticket to Coorsfield: $4 Cheesteak to bring into the game: $4.99 Peanuts outside the stadium: $1 Water from outside the stadium: $1 Microbrew beer x3: 6.50 each = 19.50 Parking: Free (I know the secret spot PM me if you are in Denver)
So I can see a ball game with ticket/food/snacks/beer (x3)/and parking for:
30.49 cents! Subtract the beer and its only around 11 bucks or so!
None. I've been boycotting the Dodgers ever since Frank McCourt bought the team. I just catch the games for free as a friend of mine works for a company that has a Dodger Stadium luxury box. Not the ideal way to watch the game but can't argue with everything being free.
Well seeing as how I tried to get Red Sox tickets on 4 occasions in the preseason and I only got through once, for RF roof deck standing room only seats, those are the cheapest seats I could get. Here is the breakdown:
Ticket to Fenway: $40 Parking (since taking the subway to Fenway is a pain in the ass): $25, split with a friend = $12.50 Beer before the game at a bar: 2 x $5 = $10 Burger and fries at the bar: $10 Beer in the stadium (Bud Light): 3 x $6 = $18 Water: 2 x $3 = $6
So basically $95 is the cheapest I could reasonably pay on a night to Fenway unless I wasn't eating or drinking or didn't mind walking a lot to park a mile or more away for nothing.

It costs me pretty much the same to go to an NH FisherCats game which is the AA affilitate to the Jays. Curse you.

As for good seats I've sat 3 rows off of the dugout for 25 bucks twice this year

$7.00 Miller Lites at Miller Park. You'd think they'd be a lot cheaper than that considering they're being brewed in the same city. A day at Miller Park will easily cost you $100, depending on how many beers you drink. If you're like me, that'd be about a beer per inning.

6 Dollar Coors but you can get a Micro brewed on site for 6.50. Well worth it. And after the 7th you can go into said brewery and drink beer there and watch the game on TV and then come back out if you want to watch the rest after finishing your beer.
Water prices are ridiculous these days at the ballparks. 4.50 for a water? No thanks.
The rising prices in MLB is probably the reason minor league ball is so popular. I work for the Single A Affiliate of the Sox and the tickets (5 to 20 bucks), food (water for 2 bucks, sausage for five, hot dog for 1.50), and parking (5 bucks but tons of spots available for free before game) are quite cheap. They have sold out every game for the past five years.
