Comeback player of the year......PAT BURREL

Postby atuf13 » Wed Mar 03, 2004 12:17 pm

This guy had a miserable season last year. He hit in the 200's and had bout 20 hrs. In 2002 he had 37 HRS. This guy will bounce back, look for the Phillies to win the NL east.

i agree. i'm definately high on the pat burrell train. he can't be any worse than last year. if he was he'd be sent to the minors. his upside is huge. he has 40+ homerun potential and being in that lineup definately helps too. i dont see any reason why not to take a mid round flyer with him. the worst that happens is you pick up raul mondesi off of waviers.

i have him as my 2nd util man in our keeper league. im very comfortable with that since the risk is very limited. he could easily repeat his 2002 numbers

I agree. HE hit .282 in 2002 and if he hits 270 this year with 35+ 100 RBI then he is definately a top 20 OF....

O.k. I'll mark down guest as saying that. Make sure you come back halfway through the season when griffey is hurt, guest.

Mark my words: pffffffffffffftttttttttttttt......

Griffey will be a top 5 hot dog vendor by the end of the season, assuming he can still walk at that point.
(taps little picture of a microphone)... is this thing on?
