We drew a line on the jar because the jar was really big. Once she digests the whole thing, and the marbles start rolling in, we will probably raise the bar a little bit.
I suggest trying it out first, and keep reminding him that he gets marbles if he does stuff. Don't let him loose interest. Of course they don't like when we take marbles out, but thats the point. If he starts getting discouraged then he is beyond my level of expertise. Perhaps if the 2 yr old does well with it, and starts running laps around him and gets numerous toys, while he gets nothing is enough motivation.
You can always scrap it if it doesn't work.
