My team is withering away and I need some advice WHIR

Postby Bonger » Mon Jul 21, 2008 6:16 am

Hi,

This is my first real FBB team. I got into a league at work and had a pretty lousy draft. I made a bunch of trades and ended up with what I thought was the best team in my league. Yet I find myself in 4th place in my division and 8th overall in a 14 team league. I'm still in the playoff picture, barely, but am stumped as to what the problem is.

This is a 14 team H2H league with weekly periods. The trade deadline is now a week away. Any ideas as to who needs to go or do I just need to be patient and hiope that everyone steps up come playoff time? ? This is a very deep league, so decent FAs are pretty much non existant.

Thanks for any ideas ar reassurances!!

wow, i really like your squad for a 14 team league, at least on offense. it looks like your biggest weakness is your pitching, and boy is it a huge one. to begin with, you only have one closer, so in a h2h league you will almost never win saves. you should either trade him with another starter for a better starter, or trade a couple of starters for lower end closers so you can compete in the category. you also have a quantity over quality problem with your starters, so you might just consider streaming some starters.

help me out?
