Rock Band 2

Postby teddy ballgame » Sun Jul 20, 2008 8:30 pm

Anyone seen the setlist for this game? It's easily the best of any RB/GH, and all the tracks are master recordings. Not to mention there's going to be a new Guns N' Roses song from Chinese Democracy, meaning the album has to be on the way (sorry, I had to throw that in there :-D ).

This game looks awesome. I dealyed buying Rock Band because I heard #2 is coming out in September. I like it because it's got everything from old to current songs. I like that kind of mix. And the instruments are supposed to be a lot better than the original Rock Band game.

Also any songs you downloaded for the first game will work with the second, and I heard all the songs that came with the first are also compatible with the second, though I have no idea how that's going to work.

I'm actually not too excited about the set list; the rumored GH world tour set list is much more appealing.

Even so, the RB list doesn't look great to me. Some good bands, but not the best songs.

Sorry guys the list looks good but, the World Tour list is gonna make RB players cry.

I mean I hope the instruments are compatible and such because if so with GH:WT I will than buy RB2, but I mean GH:WT you can make your own music, without the vocals, now tell me that isnt cool.

But imagine the kind of money these guys are making designing all this? I mean there cannot be much to it like the same program just new songs? I dont know but this guys are raking.

You can use the original RB instruments with GH:WT, but I'm not sure about the compatibilities of the new ones. The music studio could be cool but I was watching a video about it and it looked awfully confusing. It seems like one of those things that will be cool to play with for 5 minutes and then you get bored with it.

I hope the setlist is better than RB2 though. I'll be picking up both either way, so the more good songs, the better.
