It's a shame that both of my favorite Batman villains were out of the running from the start.
according to IMDB Young Talia al-Ghul is in it, maybe setting up the 4th one?

I'm intrigued to see Bane get a proper portrayal which is truer to the more cerebral character in the Batman comics. I'm confused as to why Catwoman would feature in this film and it would have been logical to have Two Face play a more prominent part in TDKR.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Ra's Al-Ghul appearing in TDKR too (not played by Liam Neeson, I reckon)?
"Young Ra's al-Ghul" makes me hopeful that we'll get a Lazarus Pit storyline but "Young Talia al-Ghul" makes me think it's going to be some kind of flashback.

I assume they're shoehorning Catwoman in as a love interest for Batman. Ugh. If this series pulls a Godfather I will be pissed.

That would make zero sense. Zod is supposed to be Kryptonian. Not sure how the storyline would work unless maybe he is just a naturalized citizen of the US.

Because the last performance of Zod was perfect, and it was British and camp. American actors have no idea how to play a role like this. NO IDEA
