It seems like Bills doesn't really get the love that he deserves. He's almost never mentioned in the discussion of top 10 fantasy SPs even though he's currently leading the league in K/9. He also top 10 in FIP ERA. I'd rather have him than Haren and Beckett next year.

He's certainly lived up to the pre-season hype, even though he had the injury speculation early in ST.

Any thoughts/projections moving forward?

You have to love how his control has improved as the season has gone on. It was simply ugly in April and May, but in June and July his walks have gone down significantly. The fact that he is starting to work later into games and is still only 23 is frightening. I am not ready to call him a top 10 SP just yet, but could reconsider toward the end of the year.

C-Bills is a baller. I love how he can do 3 different things with the fastball (cut, sink, straight 4-seam) and has 2 good breaking balls to go along with that. I only wish he developed a changeup so he'd have something to throw off lefthanders (1.58 WHIP against them).

Seems Billingsley is destined to become one of those guys that very good but everyone never seems to remember while they go for the 'marquee' names

If he keeps on this roll, everyone will see his numbers at the end of the year and put him in that top class. Remember how high Oliver Perez went in 2005. I just hope Bills has a better follow-up.

Haha, he's a few years older than me I never got to play agaisnt him in baseball, but that 90mph+ fastball he had in High School I'm gonna assume was pretty hard to hit.
