Klayton Kershaw, who was demoted in early July will likely get the call again. With the injury to closer Takashi Saito, Johnathon Broxton will be closing and they will probably move Chan Ho Park to the bullpen and Clayton Kershaw back into the rotation.

That was according to Yahoo, but I don't think that Kershaw is ready.

wow the dodgers continue to mismanage their players. torre decided to call up jason johnson?? he's some 30 something year old that came in relief after kuroda's short outing the other day. he is listed as the starter by yahoo for now. torre said that recalling kershaw was an option but he like johnson's experience. i know he's young but they are keeping the best pitching prospect in baseball in AA. if they don't think he's ready at least bump him up to AAA.

Some teams prefer to keep their best pitching prospects out of the PCL. Not sure if that's the case here or not though.

The Dodgers will recall Clayton Kershaw and have him start Tuesday against the Rockies.
Jason Johnson was supposed to join the rotation and start tomorrow, but he'll either be left in the pen or get sent back down. It seems unlikely that spending three weeks in the minors did Kershaw a lot of good. He's worth owning in NL-only leagues, but he probably shouldn't be used as Coors Field.

yahoo is also reporting now that kershaw will be called up to start the game in colorado tomorrow. i don't expect him to have lights out numbers tomorrow because he's hitting in that altitude but he is coming in the game tomorrow having not allowed a run in his last 2 starts...hopefully that momentum swings in his favor a little. and for all those who held on to kershaw lets hope he stays up the rest of the season.

If I had to guess I'd say that he'll be pitching.
