What do you prefer on your bagel?

Depends on what kind of bagel I'm getting. If it's an Everything bagel, then it's plain cream cheese. If it's a plain bagel then it's lox and cream cheese.

What is lox?

How can you possibly be from NY and not know what lox are?

Like Knapp, if I am having lox or capers then plain bagel and plain cream cheese and sometimes a slice of tomato and/or onion. I have a crack-fiend like addiction for salt bagels and I have scallion cream cheese if it's available, plain if not.

Peanut Butter = Awesomeness

All the other options besides Jelly I find unworthy, cream cheese is a plague that stuff is beyond vile tasting, I'm not a fan of putting regular butter on food, and plain is just a wasted bagel.

any kind of breakfast sandwich is delicious on a bagel (bacon, egg, cheese, sausage, pork roll, etc..)

i mix it up...butter is all right sometimes, but usually i go with good ol' philadelphia cream cheese .

If it comes down to butter vs. cream cheese, I go butter every time. I just don't care for the taste of c.c.

But as I said earlier, tuna is the best thing to put on a bagel, followed shortly by bacon, egg, cheese with SPK.
