What kind of MLB first year numbers the rest of the way are we talking here? Assuming he gets called with in the next week? Any other SP we could compare him to for the rest of the year?

I think you are really going to see something similar to what Jared Weaver did upon arriving in the bigs with a few less wins assuming he gets called up within the next week or so.
He's a pretty good K guy and hitters haven't seen him. Gotta love him pitching in Oakland as well.

He is called up and starting Thursday. Last one to the waiver wire is a rotten egg.

Gio Gonzalez's agent told the San Francisco Chronicle that the left-hander has been called up.
Gonzalez is expected to replace Dana Eveland in the rotation and start Thursday.
Apparently he's going Wednesday vs. TOR.
I'm starting him. We'll see...love the K potential.

re-draft people might want to be careful with gio.
poor numbers in AAA this year (4.24 ERA, 1.36 WHIP)
@toronto is not an easy matchup
oakland is not providing run support lately

Toronto is actually a very easy matchup. They have the 2nd worst OPS in the majors agaisnt lefties at .686, behind only Oakland.
