Postby Pythagoras » Thu Jul 17, 2008 11:50 pm

the guy I'm playing has Fuentes. If he benches the rest of his P's he'll win 5 of the 9 P cats. with there being no IP limit?
Just looking for opinions?

Yes it's fair, everyone was made aware of the rules prior to All Star week... Yahoo posted a huge warning about no IP min., so if you were dumb enough to start a pitcher that got roked tonight, then you will probably lose the majority of pitching cats this week.

Why do you have IP, ER, and ERA? IP + ER = ERA. So what's the point of having all 3?

Because more categories = more fun! For some people. Who cares what his cats are? You're not in his league.

...or are you? In which case, carry on. O:-)

Totally fair play- I only started I think 2 SP's who had real good matchups and slotted a bunch of closers.

My first year of fantasy baseball (when I didn't know any better), I joined a league that counted AB,1B,2B,3B,HR,BB,TB,AVG,OBP,SLG,OPS. So, it could be a lot worse. :-S

Oh, and by the way, ERA = 9(ER/IP) :-D ;-D

Fair play no doubt about it. I would do the same thing if it could score me a few points.
