This guy has some balls. He was given a rotation spot on a silver platter, laid giant goose eggs and they banished to AAA to get better. Strings together a handful of good starts at AAA and now filing a grievance to MLBPA? WTF is going on?

Yoda sounds like you missed out on him. If someone was screwing with the potential of me making money I would do more than file a grievance. He will be called up very soon grievance or no grievance.

Yeah I think I will survive missing out on him since I didn't waste a mid round pick and also didn't waste a bench spot for 3+ months.

I picked him up about a month ago because I had some space on my bench. It's just a shame that he has pitched so many innings in the minors because I'm sure down the road they are going to shelve him for next year if they are out of the chase.

5-0 with a 0.50 ERA in 36 IP with a K:BB ratio of 40:3 is hard not to get excited about. Those numbers are filthy.

It's apparent that some people are using this thread for their own axe grinding and organ enhancement.

If the post you are going to make serves no purpose in regards to the thread it is in, please don't make it in that thread.

I'm pretty sure that when people read a thread about, say, Liriano, they want to read about Liriano.

Not some the other non-related stuff that has been posted about Liriano's place on the roster of individual teams.

This is my first post, and I'm sorry if it offends anyone.I've been trying to be a quiet lurker, but this topic has passed the point of ludicrousy.

I wonder if LIriano squawking about what the Twins would love to do, keeping him in the minors until X-date so his arbitration clock is slowed, will force the Twins to bring him up and put him in the pen until one of the starters falters?

Would hate (Tiger fan in me) to see him come back throwing like he did pre-injury. Nasty.
