Grab him before its too late: Liriano

Remember that Francisco Liriano fellow? Well he's probably getting called up shortly after posting a 7-0 record with a 2.73 ERA in his past eight starts.

Anyways some leagues he might still be available. He was available in my 10 team points league.

Yep, he should be up soon and there are a lot worse options on most people's bench I think. I've picked him up in a few leagues. It won't be 2006 all over again but I think a lot of people might be overlooking him. Definitely worht a flier if you can still get him.

From Yahoo: Jul 17 Ken Rosenthal, of FOXSports.com, reports Minnesota Twins SP Francisco Liriano is frustrated that he has remained in the minor leagues, according to his agent, Greg Genske. Genske has contacted the players association about possibly filing a grievance on whether the team is violating the collective bargaining agreement by keeping him at Triple-A Rochester. The Twins continue to say that there is no room for Liriano in their current starting rotation.

To bad the Coors effect would ruin him like it does every other pitcher, if this happened.

I don't see Slowey getting replaced unless he strings together quite a few more bad starts. And I don't see him doing that.
