best work out music

Postby Yoda » Wed Jul 16, 2008 12:45 pm

I'm running for about 30 minutes per day and I wanted to know what you guys listen to while you run. I've been alternating the following:
Rage against the Machine
Van Halen
Metallica
Guns and Roses
Soundgarden
Tool
Led Zeppelin
Limp Bizkit
Motley Crue

Any other suggestions? I tend to like the heavy stuff as it pumps me up.

Limp Bizkit, ha.

You know, the odd thing is that death metal isn't as great workout music as one may think? I believe that depends though. If it's too fast and the vocals are too strained, odds are it's not a great workout song.

Of late, I've been listening to the following during workouts:

Slayer - Dead Skin Mask
Kenta Kobashi's AJPW theme song (Grand Sword) on repeat

Yeah during the run, I listen to Metallica and GNR the most followed by Tool.

Call me a race car driver but I like 3 Doors Down during my workout.

Also, the new Wu-tang has great beats to cardio-out with. ;-D
