There hasn't been much if any news on Marcum. Although there was word today that McGowan's shoulder was evaluated by another Dr. and it was determined that there were no further tears than what was there last year. So theres still hope he could return at some point.
I think best case scenario for Marcum though is end of July. Pretty certain he won't be in the rotation right out of the break. Maybe 2nd or 3rd time through.
Marcum (elbow) will make an additional minor league appearance before rejoining the rotation, the team's official site reports.
Spin: This could change after his rehab appearance on Wednesday but it appears he won't return to action until July 27. He'll be limited to 60-65 pitches in his first start back so you'll likely want to wait a week to activate him.

encouraging line. Let him take his time and come back healthy. I have him, Bedard and McGowan all on the DL and could use some healthy pitching for the stretch run

I think his pitch count is around 65 for Tuesday's start. I'm rolling the dice and starting him in my weekly league.
So am I. I'm hoping for 6 solid innings, but will be happy with 5!! Everything I'm reading says it's not definite that he's going to start though. Even the Jays website says something like they hope to activate him in time for Tuesday's game. Not sure what would be holding that up?? Anyone hear anything else on it?
