All I read was what CBS said. Hairston said he hopes its nothing serious but he could go on the DL.

He was supposed to have an MRI today, but I haven't heard the results...

According to CBS...

Jerry Hairston, LF CIN
News: Reds SS Jerry Hairston, who left Sunday's game against the Brewers, has only a mild strain of his right hamstring, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. He'll be re-evaluated Thursday.
Analysis: A lifetime .260 hitter in 11 major-league seasons, Hairston has been a surprise in his first year with the Reds. He hit .351 in 188 at-bats in the first half. The All-Star break will give him some time to heal, but hamstring injuries can be tricky for speedsters. Play it safe and reserve him for the shortened Fantasy Week 16 (July 17-20).

If you take a look at his splits (about 180 pts difference in BA) he's really only usable at home in mixed leagues unless you are incredibly desperate for steals.

He's hitting .267 away...with as thin as MI is in my league that's good enough for me as long as he steals some bases.

i agree-he is so flexible in the positions that you can use him in-I am in a 12 team mixed league and I am glad to have him-hope he comes back healthy

It's lookin like our boy is going to be alright...which is a sigh of relief for me and my team's batting average! Jerry is a straight up baller this year!!!
