Aaron Miles playing enough to be viable?

Hey All,

I don't know much about the Cardinal's roster situation, but have noticed that Miles has been hitting lately. Doesn't look like he's a starter according to the Yahoo depth chart. Anyone familiar woth the team that can shed some light on his situation? I've got a couple teams that could use help at 3b/ss. Thanks!

I wouldn't pick him up. First, he's a guy with basically no speed or power. He'll help you in AVG, but that's it. Also, the Cardinals have so many mediocre middle infielders (Kennedy, Izturis, Ryan) that there's no way he'll play every day once his bat cools off ...

So he's really a back-up player? that's all I need to know I guess, hard to count on that for my fantasy team. dang, I thought I was onto something . . . .

I wouldn't really say he's a backup. More like La Russa likes to use his bench so much. It's a pain for all Cardinals other than Pujols...

Oh, OK. Like I said, not familiar much at all with the Cardinals beyond what I see on Sportscenter. . . .
