huh? He probably will be the same pitcher after the break he was before. The DL stint may actually help.

His expected FIP is 3.27, largely b/c he has an uninspiring strikeout rate. He is hard to make good contact on, though, as evidenced by his 15% line drive rate. His ERA is definitely rising, so don't sell the farm expecting a Papelbon-Rivera-Nathan kind of ERA in the second half.

if hes healthy theres no reason to think his ERA wont stay around the same.
last year he had a lower ERA in the 2nd half at 2.15 ..but his ERA in the 1st half last season 3.28 wasnt as good as his current ERA of 1.95
eventhough he had a lower ERA in the 2nd half, he had more saves in the 1st half.
aslong as he is healthy i would not expect some big blow up in the 2nd half, but one bad blown save could drastically effect his ERA, which can be the same for any closer.
