Many people have said this guy is a bust, but if you look at his total categories:

As of today:

Avg - .285
RBI - 39
Runs - 50
HR - 4
SB - 23

He still a great fantasy asset, instead of offering rbi/hrs, he's offering steals/runs and maintaining a similar avg. We still have another half a season to go, I wouldn't be surprise if he finds his power stroke and bag in a total of 15 hrs by year end. 15/35-40 is very impressive.

yeah... I traded away McLouth with the hope that Rios would show some power in the second half, but i've been pleasantly surprised with his speed, the biggest concern I have is he has no protection in that line up so he's not going to be getting too many quality pitches any time soon...

I guess we'll see... he's not playing tonight against the yankees... anyone know why? He usually owns them! He better not be hurt... :-o
For every Brett Myers there's a Nate McLouth...

whoops... his wife is having a kid or something... so he's going to miss the whole yankees series.. :~( It's almost all star break Alex, tell her you'll see the kid in three days... haha

Maybe this has been on his mind, explaining his lack of a power stroke?

Where do things stand with Rios? CBS reports in the "injury" section that he is out for personal reasons and is DOUBTFUL for the July 18-20th series vs TB. TBut the little Fantasy Analysis section on his player page indicates he should be OK to go this week. So here I am needing to decide whether or not to put him in my lineup this week. Anyone have any additional info???

He's in Puerto Rico for the birth of his daughter and should be back for the first series...
