Thoughts on this guy?? hell be back in 2-3 weeks...whose really better him or Jonathan Johnson?

Jul 9 After a successful rehab start for High-A Jupiter on Tuesday, Sanchez (shoulder) said he's on track to return to the Marlins rotation by July 28, the Palm Beach Post reports.

I'd say Sanchez is better, only because I have no idea who Johnathan Johnson is.

If you meant Johnathan Sanchez or Josh Johnson, then I think you'd be better off with either one of them. I wouldn't waste a roster spot on him until I watched him pitch well at least once or twice...

Sanchez was considered a mid-to-high level prospect with the Boston organization, though there were questions about whether his control would allow him to remain in the starting rotation. When he went over in the Han-Ram trade, I thought he'd either become a solid but unexceptional starter or a good power leftie reliever.

It's a tough call, since their wins potential is clearly the same. If you want strikeouts, go for Johnson, who has power and also better command than Sanchez. But b/c Sanchez is a leftie, he can have a fair amount of success without outstanding peripherals, and may end up winning more. Both are obviously big injury risks...

Johnson looked good last night, was throwing a consistent 95.
