Vidro should have been released first. As bad as Sexson has been, Vidro has been significantly worse. In any case, he needs like something unattainable like 650 ABs for his option to vest so he's not going to hit it anyway.
The whole team besides maybe 5 players needs to be released, they are terrible. Nice trade Bavasi for Bedard, who is on the DL once again ... so close to beating those Angels!

You sure picked a good time to move to Seattle eh?
Considering there is no steroid controversy surrounding him and the team wouldn't have to "sell their souls" to get him, I'd like the Jays to sign him and platoon him with Stairs. It appears that he can still hit lefties, and it's better than sticking 2 catchers in the lineup every time a lefty takes the mound.

I've been thinking the same thing. Sexson's 11 HR's would lead the Blue Jays.
I just don't trust JP to pull the trigger on this though.. you know, since Sexson is a lot like Adam Dunn, only with fewer HR's and a weaker batting average..
You've got a diamond, You've got nine men You've got a hat and a bat, And that's not all..

And yet, they signed Brad Wilkerson. Basically the terrible version of Adam Dunn. He must actually like baseball, though.
