Late Round MonSter OutField Production!

I have done 4 drafts through yahoo and I keep finding the same thing in every draft, i can get a fantastic outfield in the later rounds like 9 through 13, which means my first 8 picks can be :

infield
great pitching
and possibly a catcher(i wouldn't recommend that)

5x5 leagues people here is who was available:

dodger S. Green 9th
brewer G. Jenkins 11th
royal J. Gonzalez 11th
astros r. hidalgo 10th
d ray r. baldelli 13th
twins t. hunter 10th
red sox t. nixon 11th
all these guys can give you essential stats runs, HRs, rbi's and average,

any four of these guys will be a good start to the season

I wouldn't go as far as to call that a monster outfield. A lot of question marks in there.

jay gibbons actually went undrafted in one of my yahoo leagues. i wanted to take him very badly, but i already have a very good OF(vlad, wells, kearns, cabrera, crawford) plus, i had no choice but to draft placido polanco to fill in at 2B until jose reyes gains the necessary games to be eligible.

I would ad Kearns to that list. He has went in the last couple of rounds or undrafted in some of the leagues I have seen.

I'd add Gerut and Patterson to that list.

Snagged Patterson at the end of the 10th (118 overall), and was sweatin' every pick after my 9th rounder.
