I believe in his talent and think he can keep it up the entire year. However, Tampa Bay seems like they're going through a tiny offensive funk here that may stretch out into a slump. If so, Longoria may suffer with them.
They've scored a total of 5 runs in their last 28 innings. Yes, a very small sample size but every high flying team comes back to Earth sooner or later and this may be their time.
Stud - both offensively and defensively. For the rest of this year though I would have to take ARAM. ARAM is a notorious second half player, plays for a good team to provide ample run production, and has a proven track record. Longoria may be amazing or he may not, we don't know yet.
I think he will continue to perform but not to what he has been doing. He is a rookie so yo have to think he will lower the pace a little. Aramis will have more RBI opp.
Evan isn't a guy that came out of no where to do what he is doing. He has been a top prospect since being drafted and has dominated every level of baseball he has been in. He is only going to get better IMO.
For this season I would definitely pick Aram. He's got a longer proven track record of playing at this level. Although Longoria has been great at every level, his floor is lower than Aram and the ceiling isn't much higher than Aram's typical production IMO.
I don't see him slowing down at all. He seems to be a natural at the plate, and it looks like he has already been playing for years while just being a rookie. Like some others said, he is improving day-by-day.
