Are you asking whether he should be kept in a keeper league?? I would say no but it would help to see your roster and know how many you keep. I would expect him to be better this year but make sure that you only start him at home until he proves himself.

I'm gonna dissent from the majority here. I like Odalis Perez this year.

He was pretty good both halves of 2002. He didn't get the wins in the second half, but his ERA and WHIP were still very respectable (3.24 and 1.09). Last year's numbers were bad, but he was bothered by injuries. He has good stuff and he pitches in Dodger stadium, so it should not be hard to bounce back.

I wouldn't expect 2002 numbers by any means, but he is still capable of a very good season. My projections for this year:

13 W, 150 K, 3.74 ERA, 1.15 WHIP.

He also pitched alot of innings in 2002( at least alot for him) which probably contributed to his down season last year.undefined

He's got a little value, though the fact that the Dodgers have been trying to trade him for any tom, dick, or harry scares me. A good bit of his value comes from his stadium.

He doesn't have much trade value right now, but I think he's gonna suprise people. By no means to I think he repeats his 02 numbers but he'll put up numbers to make a very solid #3 starter. You won't get that in trade value right now so I'd wait until he has a couple of starts before trying to trade him.
