Well the Royals made a valiant effort today but ended up on the short end of the stick. After trailing 7-3 the Royals came back to tie 7-7 but ended up losing 8-7 to the Seattle Mariners. Jeremy Affeldt pictched 3 innings and his only mistake was a two run blast off Edgar (I'm not quite in a walker) Martinez.

Some bad news from the game Febles was HBP and left and Quinn came up lame. We'll keep ya up to date on those at this point they are saying both injuries are not serious but the Quinn injury worries me.

yea...the injury bug hit us pretty hard today. i believe that David DeJesus has hurt to late in the game after he dove for a ball.

Febles left Monday's spring training game after getting hit by a pitch on the left hand. "It's just a bruise. It's no big deal, nothing broken," he said.

Quinn pulled up lame after running out a ground ball and left Monday's game in the first inning. Quinn missed the rest of 2002 after going on the DL in June because of a hamstring injury. Quinn said there's no need to be alarmed, though. "The sensation I felt was scar tissue tearing apart, which is normal for this type of injury ," he said. "We will see how it feels tomorrow. There is no new tear or strain or anything like that."

No word as of yet on David DeJesus's injury.

i forgot about Desi Relaford also who is nursing a sore foot and yet yet to see any action ing spring training

Yeah I was dissappointed in Ascensio's outing also. Let's hope he gets it back together.

yea, Asencio seems to have a good game every other time out. i did read that we were like 11-10 on games that Asencio started though.
