From rotoworld:
The Chicago Tribune reports that Bobby Jenks will be placed on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to June 30 as a precautionary measure.
Jenks played catch without any pain on Tuesday, but he felt uncomfortable trying to throw off a mound. With the All-Star break coming up, there's little reason not to free up a roster spot for another pitcher this week. Jenks said he plans to be ready after the break on July 18.

Jul 6 Linebrink picked up his first save of the season Sunday.
Recommendation: He served as the White Sox's ninth-inning guy with Bobby Jenks unavailable. He struggled a bit in picking up the save, letting up one run on three hits, and he will return to eighth-inning duties Tuesday as Jenks comes back.
Jul 3 RHP Scott Linebrink will hold down the closing duties during Bobby Jenks' injury absence. LHP Matt Thornton is next in line for the ninth inning. "My closer right now is Linebrink," manager Ozzie Guillen said. "I like the way he throws the ball and what he does. His mentality is fine. I don't want to put a lot of people out there and all of a sudden they don't know what they're going to do. He's been pitching well vs. lefties and righties, then we have to use him as a closer."

Linebrink got lit up for 2 runs in the 11th while trying to save a 7-5 game last night. As a Sox fan, I cringed when he came in for the save just knowing that he was going to choke it away. He has caved several times in that role this year already. As a Bobby Jenks owner in several leagues, I will not be picking up Linebrink as a replacement. It wouldn't surprise me to see Dotel or Thornton get the next chance before Jenks gets back. Can you say closer by committee?

Agreed, it will be by committee unless one of them blows it while Jenks it out.
Does anyone know when Y! will DL him?

With that bullpen the Sox possesses, anyone can close for that team, but I do favor Dotel or Thornton though.

Dotel got the save last night by striking out all three batters on just 10 pitches. Wouldn't surprise me in the least that he gets every opportunity until Jenks comes back.
