My first mock over the weekend

I commish my own league and I wanna prepare as much as I can with the type of people I play with - so I joined some public yahoo leagues. I got the first pick in this one and I won't have the first pick in my draft - I am not very pleased with my first attempt - I listed my picks round by round.

Please hammer me - I need all the criticism I can get.

- too soon for Rolen?
- Giambi too risky now?
- Too early for RJ?
- Pierre in the fifth a stretch?


Again, please hammer away - This team is meaningless to me. It's my draft in two weeks that I wanna dominate.

I dont like Rolen ...but thats where he usually lands (20ish) I would have liked Renteria (move ARod to 3B)

RJ, is a good pick if you wanted him.. no way you would have gotten him later..tough choice between Schilling, RJ and Pedro

Delgado over Giambi..but he was prob gone

everyone was picked at about the right time if thats what your worried about..but Larry Walker in the 9th?? maybe too soon

and no RPs and too many 1Basemen... Giambi, Thomas, Sweeney

but really need to see your draft results if you want better opinions

Delgado went first round, pick 6.

Thomas was taken in round 12 and I couldn't pass up a util guy like that, that late

Renteria went round two before my pick - he would've been my 2nd rounder - I kinda panicked and went Rolen to keep a-rod at SS.

Schill and Pedro long gone in round two. I can't imagine RJ NOT having a decent season and you're right, no way he comes back to me.

I realize the RP-less team of mine is basically punting saves and that's not a very popular thing - but I didn't want to take one before round 5 and I was determined not to take Mariano Rivera for some reason (and the best guy after him was Guardado and I figured I'd rather have a solid second starter in Oswalt)

your early rounds were alright, i think Giambi went too early (i can't seem him having that good of a season after losing 34 pounds of muscle). Milton Bradly in the 13th?!
