JP on the post game show just said theres a "tear". Didn't specify the labrum ... said they'e going to let it "calm down" and re-evaluate it.

Another caller just called in and questioned further. He said its in the "rotator cuff area"

Yes, I heard the same thing.

Just one question though: can you really take a single thing JP says at face value, especially with respect to injuries?.. :-{

Rotoworld is saying that he could be out for months rather than weeks since the Jays are out of contention and want to take it easy with McGowan instaed of hurrying him back and hurting him permanantly. I had McGowan in my 14 teamer but dropped him for Dave Bush.

My 2-3-4-5 SP's in my keeper league were Myers, Gallardo, McGowan, and Hughes at the beginning of the season. This has worked out almost perfectly...

A tear in the rotator cuff. I really doubt he'll be back this year.

Brian Tallet is replacing him on Sunday, but starting next week I'd expect David Purcey to get a long look.

Not in a keeper, but I had Smoltz, Gallardo, McGowan, Marcum 2-3-4-5...I'm right there with ya....
