Everytime someone mentions that they're going to Vegas, I always suggest the same thing, and nobody every thinks I'm serious, but the cheapest, most fun way to gamble in Vegas (especially with a group of friends) is the Sigma Derby horse racing game. I think the only one left is in the MGM. It's an absolute blast, particularly if you're a little tuned up. Up to 10 people can play at once, so you can all get in there after a while, and you can bet anywhere from $0.25 to $25 per race, so it works for those who don't want to bet much, and those who want a little more action.
Whatever you do, don't log onto your fantasy baseball team while there. Give it a rest. I know it's difficult. Relax. Enjoy your life.
Set your lineup for a week in advance. Have the time of your life, then return to find your team in shambles with two of your starters are on the DL and nine home runs wasted on the bench. But it was all worth it.
