I've been to Vegas once before (post 21) and it was only for about 20 hours (a spur of the moment drunken decision amongst friends). I'm going with 9 other buddies, we are leaving all girls behind, making it a guys trip. We are all about 24-27 years old. One of my friends is a high roller who was offered a free room and upon request got a 2nd free. We are staying at Planet Hollywood and some of the guys got a room at Harrah's.
I have a lot of money sitting in my bank account and have no problems using some of it towards betting. We are going Fri-Sun (getting in about noon on Friday) and I plan on bringing $500 just for betting. This may seem like nothing to some, but I think it's a good amount for 2 days of gambling. I'm OK with not doing any of that on Sunday before we leave. With all that said I would also like to get out and do some things on the strip or around town if it catches my attention. I'm not into clubs because I really hate the music and not a fan of being in overcrowded rooms.
Does anyone have suggestions on things I should look out for or do? Thanks guys.

Check out the strip clubs they are amazing. Tell your cab driver that you are in town for a bachelor party or something and try to get some free passes. Then call up the strip club and ask them if they have a limo service. Most likely they will send you a car free of charge. I've been to Vegas a few times and got a total of maybe 2 hours of sleep combined since there is just so much to do. Have fun and make sure you wear a helmet.

i hear poker is a cinch in vegas so if you're a poker player, id go with that.
$500 isnt much, and if thats your limit, thats your limit. if you get up a few hundred, walk away. get something to eat and then start over with your initial buy-in money. vegas and other casinos make their money when you win and just keep playing and letting it dwindle away. also, if you're going to be drinking, and i suspect you will be heavily, try not to gamble too much. you dont want to make any rash decisions.

Don't gamble. You will lose your money and will gain nothing from it. Strips clubs are defiantly a fun idea, they are probably a lot better in Vegas I would think as well. DJ's in strips clubs I think are really annoying and the waitresses/girls/staff can be really pushy but yeah you get drunk and feel boobs so.
