How ironic, now Harden joins a team with notorious DL frequenters in Wood and Prior.

Knock on wood.

%$#@%! Living in San Francisco I am an A's fan and have loved watching Harden this year ... especially cuz I picked him up off the WW while he was on the DL and have been reaping the rewards. :-)

This stinks for the A's. That team is forever finding new ways to alienate its fans. Murton, Patterson, Gallagher? Yaaaawn. Harden was downright exciting. He was a key contributor to a semi-surprising 48-41 record. It's not like the A's are out of it ... six games behind LAA, but hey.

How many good to great pitchers have the A's lost or jettisoned in recent years? Hudson, Haren, Harden, Harang. Zito, Mulder. No doubt I''m forgetting a few. Well, at least we get WGN here. Vent over and out. :-X

Yeah thats a pretty sickening list of pitchers sent off for no reason but to save money. Have they even gotten anything good for any of those elite(at the time) pitchers?

it's a good thing that the arm killer no longer coaches in Chicago. Actually, the Cubs are going up against this wonderful manager tonight. :-D

What does this do for Harden's value?

Not to mention Nomar's run as a Cub and other assorted jinxes.

As a 'buy low' drafter of Harden in all league's who was willing to forgive his past for his potential, I'm officially worried. Still happy to roll along with Harden amidst the doubters, but worried.

Not much in return for the A's IMO.

Great, now that Harden gets to bat regularly, the odds of him getting hurt just jumped... time to sell high? Can he be successful in Wrigley?
