LAA @ TEX, July 7, 2008
Max blocks the plate for the out at home then somehow manages to recover and throw the runner out at third...

Wow ;-D That was a sweet play. I bet its top play of the day on SC. That was a great throw from his knees to get the guy at third ;-D

That was a sweet play! I like how he gathered himself and threw a dart towards third before almost passing out/collapsing O:-)

I'd put that in my top-10 of the year at this point for sure, though I can't remember much other than Asdrubal's triple play...

Yeah, I was watching the Rangers game last night, and I simply couldn't believe it. They had zoomed in on Max, talking about how great it was that he had held the ball, and all of a sudden he's on his knees firing a bullet down to third. Wow.

Great stuff so far. After watching some of these other videos I'm not sure I'd give Rick Ankiel the top spot but I thought he's at least deserving of a mention. He has had some great catches too but both of those throws were just crazy.
