Some people would have thought the Cardinals would have a very good staff this year, though it hasnt worked out that way, with Kile starting off slow, Bud Smith really struggling, and Woody Williams having been injured. Also, no sign as to when we might see Ankiel in the majors again.

I'm very tempted to say the Dbacks have the best staff due solely too Randy and Curt, but thats not true. I actually think the Yankees have an aoutsatinding staff in terms of talent. Whether or not it gets them to the Series again remains to be seen.
BTW, once the playoffs start and rotations shrink I think the Dbacks have the edge. What other team can pitch Randy in game 1, Curt in game 2 and EVERYBODY else in game three and then come back with Randy and Curt agan.
