I have Lawrence on my team as a #5 stater, but Affeldt and R. Soriano are available.

Should I take a shot and grab Affeldt or Soriano, or should I sit tight?

I am very optomistic about both of those guys so I would take a chance and add them.

Lawrence is nice, but assuming the blister problem is solved, Affeldt is better. Soriano's going to do nice things for your ERA and WHIP as well.

You could do worse than Lawrence for a #5 starter, but either of these guys have more upside. Actually surprised Soriano's out there.

I'd keep Lawrence, though I like Affeldt. Unless you have Holds as a category, Soriano is next to worthless, not enough innings...besides I think he's hurt...

i cant say enough about soriano, if you get a chance to take him do it. the guy is like 21 and did you see his era and whip last year? 1.35 or something, 0.75 whip. how can u let a guy like that go by? and all indications are he isnt slippiing cuz he set a new era record in the winter league with something like 0.42. yeah he has a strained muscle but he is young and can recover quick.

I picked up Soriano through waivers, and I hope he works out for me!!!

i would say soriano has the most upside of the 3, but i like him more as a RP or closer to be honest. i don't think he has a good enough change up to start, if he improves it then i like him more, but until then i would be hesitant w/ him. he also has had a few injuries including this one now, and is somewhat small, which makes me think he might not to be able to throw that many innings. oh yeah he isn't 21 he is 24, not that it makes a real big deal but i felt i should correct him.
