Goodness, not again. Anyone believe this? I might have to cut him just to pick up a shortstop, or should I hold off?

Church, who left Saturday's game in the eighth inning due to a migraine headache, was held out of the lineup on Sunday against the Phillies, reports Newsday. Manager Jerry Manuel insisted that the migraine is not related to the two concussions Church suffered earlier in the season. Church has been dealing with Migraines since his freshman year of high school.

Apparently Church is to undergo tests today (Monday July 7th) to determine whether the dizziness was from the aforementioned migraine or related to the concussions he suffered earlier this year. Jury is still out. I have him & am trying to decide (in next minute or so) whether to drop him or pick up Jerry Hairston Jr.

UPDATE: I decided I couldn't risk Church getting shut down if the tests reveal that the dizziness was related to the concussions & I picked up Hairston. I can substitute Hairston in my MI slot occupied by the suddenly ice-cold Chone Figgins. We'll see how that works out...

Tough luck for this guy. His injury and what is happening to Aaron Hill is scary. Let's hope these guys get back to full strength at some point.

I had to let Church go, but I hope he sits the season out and returns healthy next year.
