i have the third pick in my nl only draft. it is a 5x5 league. who should i try and get. i know for sure that vladdy will be gone.
any suggestions?

If there are more than 12 teams, take ARod over Soriano or RJ.
If there are less than 12 teams, take RJ then ARod then Soriano.

That's because in a small league you can still get Jeter or Tejada or Nomah with your next pick, but in a large league you need the SS Arod.

Since it's NL only I would go Big Unit if not him Schilling.

I agree take Randy Johnson or Schilling.I think you could consider Jeff Kent early in that he should have much higher stats than the next best 2nd baseman but I still would go with one of the two pitchers.

I think that RJ will be taken with the second pick. I would go with Kent over Schilling, but only because there are so many bargain pitchers in the NL and so few bargain 2b.

Johnson or Schilling, and be happy you got a top3 pick. Either SP will help you dominate 4 of those roto categories.
