The NL Central (and the NL on a whole) is far worse offensively than where he was. Sabathia will do better...probably significantly better.

I have a friend who has been holding on to him and Burnett in his NL only on the off chance that they got traded to the NL.

As a CC owner, I was hoping he'd end up with the Cubs, but Milwaukee's a pretty great consolation prize. In addition to the conventional wisdom of NL = -1 ERA, the Brewers are a far better offensive team than Cleveland.

Sabathia's value goes up, Cleveland gave him terrible offensive support.

CC should definitely be a scary sight in the NL. However, I think it is worth remembering that the Indians sort of abused his arm in the 5-6 starts leading up to the trade, always getting 110+ pitches out of him. This was pointed out in a Rotoworld column a week ago, and it is something of a concern for a guy who threw a career high in innings last year and who clearly wore down in the playoffs. I'd be concerned about an overuse injury or just general fatigue leading to ineffectiveness in the second half, esp. in September during fantasy playoffs.

It's like getting 5 out of 6 lottery numbers and instead of the $4 million prize, you get Chris Snyder'ed.
